"error opening local movie file" ?

Hi!

After using this program for years, I'm suddenly unable to open videos. It 
happens with every transcript-video pair I try. The videos open just fine 
in QuickTime, and I haven't changed the transcript or videos at all. I 
restarted my computer and it's still happening.

This is what I do:
Open the chat file.
Open Walker Controller.
Click Open Media.
Click the corresponding .mov file (with identical name).
Error message "error opening local movie file"

Any idea how to fix this? I'm at a loss. Thanks in advance!
