"Talking Rain" is a novel by Linda French, subtitled 'a Professor
Teodora Morelli mystery', published this year by Avon Books.  Check this
out:  The premise is that our heroine is trying to preserve a "lost"
language.  Can you guess which one?  Hint:  It begins with ChInUk and ends
with Wawa.  There are sections in the text that are actually in the
Jargon.  It's an inexpensive paperback, and it might be a fun read in your
spare time.  My dad (who found it at the library) is enjoying it.  Thanks,
