Page 5:  "...it was nearer midday before we pulled away [steaming from New
Westminster to Hatzic].  There were about a dozen pickers, besides myself,
aboard.  They were mostly girls of seventeen, eighteen, and nineteen, very
easy to talk and laugh with; more philosophical, practical and mature than
those with whom I had grown up.  They sang:
	"'Kitsilano, Capilano, Siwash squaw
	Klahowyah tillicum skookum wah,
	Hi yu mamook mucka zip
	B.C. varsity!  Rip!  Rip!  Rip!
	Varsity, Varsity!'
which astonished me very much, not being used to college yells."

Note A:  I did not make this up, and yes I know that "squaw" is not proper
Chinook Jargon.

Note B:  Anyone up to translating this, or is it better let be?
