Note re "Sesquipedalian" posting

That note on Maa (in a Kenyan's translation of a Nike
slogan) isn't about the bilingual mixed language Ma'a of
Tanzania; Ma'a was never spoken in Kenya, as far as
one can tell.  Instead, the Maa language of Kenya is
is an alternate form of the language name Maasai, and
I don't *think* any of the two or three other languages
called Maa are spoken in Kenya.  Maasai isn't a mixed
language.
