BC sawmill sign language (pidgin?)

Hi Dave,

I've not heard of sawmill sign language, but several Sto:lo elders have 
said their ancestors used to have a fairly elaborate sign language that 
they used to communicate with one another across the Fraser River in 
teh canyon area above Yale (where the nose is too great to communicate 
by yelling).
