Dear list members,

I would like to thank the people who gave me tips about where to find
information about compounds. The information I got was very
useful. Below, I summarize the responses I got.

Thank you!

I have worked on Norwegian compounds both for automatic analysis and
linguistic description for a while. One paper is downloadable from my
homepage:

1998:An automatic analysis of compounds. With Helge Hauglin. In
Haukioja, T. (ed.): Papers from the 16th Scandinavian Conference of
Linguistics, Turku/Åbo, Finland 1996 : 209-220.

Another is just published:
2001: Sammensatte ord. Norsk Lingvistisk Tidsskrift, 59-92.

Lars Borin recommended Olli Blåberg (see above) and suggested
that I should also look at the doctor's thesis of Elzbieta Dura ("Parsing
Words", University of Gothenburg).
