The only 'standard' that I have visited is located at
http://www.cs.vassar.edu/CES/

However, there really should be a convenient internet reference which lists
all
the known categories or annotation, all the known annotations in each
category, a
formal description of each annotation, and an explanation of how each
annotation
is typically used in language systems.
