We are pleased to announce the publication of the *4*th issue of DISCOURS.

This thematic issue, *Linearization and Segmentation in Discourse*, is based
on a small selection of papers from the 2008 edition of the *Multidisciplinary
Approaches to Discourse (MAD)* conference in Oslo.
