[Corpora-List] Emotions in texts: ANEW vs. discrete emotions

Hi Marc,

thank you indeed for compiling and sharing that information.

In line with this trend in psycholinguistics to discretise
affect (represented by the emotional dimensions in the circumplex)
into emotion categories, to what extent is it then related
to sentiments (say, the polarity of emotions)? Wouldn't it be
more reasonable to discretise the valence directly instead of
grouping discrete emotion categories? What else can be done?
Isn't this newer approach somehow limiting the representation of
affect in text?
