[Corpora-List] Research position in NLP and ML at U. Sheffield (and U. Melbourne)

The University of Sheffield have an opening for a Research Associate in the
Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning research groups. The
candidate will work on modelling information diffusion in social networks
as part of an EU funded project. The candidate will be responsible for
developing statistical language processing methods and inference techniques
for reasoning over large networks.

Sheffield is a leading European centre in NLP and ML. This job represents a
great opportunity to join our dynamic group, contribute to a growing
research area and includes substantial travel and other benefits. The
project will be co-hosted by the University of Melbourne, the leading
university in Australia and among the very best in the world (QS rank #13
in Computer Science and Information Systems). The candidate will also have
the opportunity to work from the University of Melbourne for an extended
stay, working in the Knowledge Discovery research group. The post will be
supervised by Dr Trevor Cohn (Sheffield, Melbourne), building on his work
on computational methods for social science (see e.g., Lampos,
Preotiuc-Pietro, Cohn; ACL13).
