We are pleased to announce that the newest version of a wordnet for
Polish, plWordNet 2.0, became available for free download on February 8,
2013:

http://nlp.pwr.wroc.pl/plwordnet/download/?lang=eng

The system carries an open licence (modelled on that for Princeton
WordNet), which allows all manner of applications, including commercial use.

The new version describes over 106000 unique lemmas (and over 160000
lexical units), interlinked by over twenty semantic relations. The
download includes the latest results of the mapping of plWordNet 2.0
onto Princeton WordNet 3.0. They cover the following categories: person,
artefact, location, food, time, state and process (partially), economic
vocabulary (partially), communication (partially).

The system can be downloaded in the native plwnXML format and in the
Princeton WordNet format. Part of the data is also available in the
VisDic format.

One can also browse plWordNet on the Internet
(http://plwordnet.pwr.wroc.pl).

On behalf of the large team of authors and the whole G4.19 Research Group,
