[Corpora-List] Research position in corpus linguistics, Lancaster University, UK

The Centre for Corpus Approaches to Social Science at Lancaster University, funded by the ESRC, is seeking to appoint to an 18 month research position to work on discourses of climate change. Applicants must have relevant research experience in corpus linguistics and an ability to engage with research within environmental sociology.
The postholder will pursue research on developing existing and new approaches to the use of corpus linguistics within the social sciences, in particular with regard to discourses around climate change and energy use in the UK and Brazil. A knowledge of English and Portuguese is essential.
You will join an interdisciplinary team of internationally renowned researchers within the Departments of Linguistics and English Language and Sociology. The postholder will be supervised by Prof John Urry and Professor Tony McEnery within the overall Centre. You will be offered excellent career progression opportunities through the ESRC Centre.
