Zouhair, how are you. It is too bad you wouldn*t be participating
but thank you for your kind regard.

Japanese does not have a relative pronoun; relative clauses are
identifiable by word order. There is also a compensatory structure
that may sometimes be used. An interesting thing about Japanese
but probably applies to other SOV languages is that modification
tends to occur POST rather than PRE as with POSTPOSITIONS and
(English) PREPOSITIONS. This possibily may have implication for
language comprehension and spoken rhetoric. In that, a receiver
may be less **primed** for an oncoming message. But that is all
still conjecture because language possesses a vast store of
means for signifying.

Well, I must be short because I happen to be at school (still on
semester break) and on my way back home. (My computer at home is
not working so I am even less functional at email than before.)
