[Kazuko MIYAKE]

Hello DISCOURS listers,

I am thrilled to have joined in this list!
I hope there will be a lot of interdisciplinary discussions which can
stimulate people from wide range of fields, and to which I can make
contribution.
 My accademic background is in Japanese sociolinguistics, and I am
currently conducting research on discourse of sportbroadcasts.  I am
particularly interested in the Japanese broadcast styles (or rather
mannerism) in different sport events and in finding out the reflection
of cultural specific expectation and norms in the society.
If there are anybody who share the similar interest please let me know!
