Thank you for your reply. I think my use of the term subjectification is
close to yours. In Korean, sensation/emotion adjectives and verbs can be
used only by the speaker if they are in the present tense. My file did not
go out. I will try one more time. If it is in rtf (rich text file), your

e, agentive or event-related. Particularly, some Korean psych-verbs can be in the progressive form, whereas English ones cannot.  Why they differ in this respect has not been explained.
\par \loch\f8    The present paper adopts similar tests as Dowty (1979) applied in c\loch\f8
lassifying verbs and tries to see how psych-predicates behave and whether they can be regarded as achievement verbs uniformly as van Voorst claims. We take the position that a psych-predicate describes an event or eventuality such that it has the beginnin

, duration, end and result of a psychological state involved. It is argued that there must be distinctions between emotional verbs,  sensory/perceptual verbs, and cognitive verbs, on one hand, and between those verbs and psych-verbs turned accomplishment
