*Non-Tenure-Track Assistant Teaching Professor in Applied Linguistics*

Georgetown University, Washington DC, Main Campus


The Department of Linguistics at Georgetown University invites applications
for a two-and-a-half-year, non-tenure-track Assistant Teaching Professor in
applied linguistics. The appointment will begin on January 1, 2022.



We seek someone specializing in any area of language learning, teaching, or
assessment, with a record of successful teaching, along with strong
evidence or promise of research and publication. Duties include teaching
three courses in the fall and three in the spring, mentoring graduate
students, and serving on some departmental committees. Salary is
competitive. Ph.D. in hand by the time of appointment.
