hi everybody

just wondering whether anyone out there can recommend any good
references on how to analyze recorded data esp in the qualitative
direction?

secondly, most of the studies on language shift/maintenance deal with
immigrant or native or native american communities. i'd love to be
in contact with anyone working on the lg shift/maintenance of a
creole lg since the socio-historical/cultural context of creole
communities are v much different from the just mentioned. creole
websites often focus more on the linguistic analyses of the
language.

cheers
ei leen
