The following site may be of interest to list members:

http://home.alphalink.com.au/~minky/macalisterras1931/sheltacopyright.html

It presents the vocabulary of Shelta given in "The Secret Languages of
Ireland", by R A S Macalister, 1931 (Cambridge UP). Shelta is a name given
to the secret speech of the Irish Tinkers/Travellers.

"The Secret Languages of Ireland" is now public domain in Australia and
other life+50 countries. Be warned, it may be illegal to access the site
in countries with more draconian copyright legislation, such as the US.
