ELL: So...we're "English Only"?

Regarding responses to Marion Gunn's message about Gaelic:

It seems ironic to be suppressing voices speaking in ELs on a list
about endangered languages.  Whatever MG's motives, one could make
the point that not every message that comes over this list is for
everyone; different threads weave in and out all the time and are
probably of varying interest to different groups of readers. If a
message comes across that I see isn't for me, I'm quite happy to hit
the delete button.
