Jeanne,

Have you enabled input for the Image Display that is displaying the bitmaps?
If so, the RT value for the Image Display will measure how long the subject
studied the display before responding. RT in E-Prime is defined as the
duration from onset of the object until a response to it is made. As long as
your Image Display is collecting input on the trial, its RT value will
return the study time you are seeking.
