Hi Linda,

This probably isn't the most elegant solution but it will work...
inbetween your slide and your wait place an inline with a text like:

If SLIDENAME.InputMasks.Responses.Count > 0 then goto skipwaitlabel

after the wait place a label that you call skipwaitlabel. Now if a
response is given during the slide then the program will "jump" to the
location of the skipwaitlabel, thereby skipping the wait.
