blurry word presentation

Hi, I would like to manipulate the perceptual saliency of target words in a
flanker paradigm. they idea way to do this would be to present the target
words in a blurred form, while maintaining the distractor words in their
clear form. Thus I was wondering if anyone knows how to accomplish this?
For example, is there a particular font that can be selected to make the
target words slightly more blurry?

Thanks!
Peter
