Preferential looking paradigm -- Have E-Prime start webcam recording at beginning of experiment

Hi Everyone,

I am developing a preferential looking paradigm to investigate semantic
priming effects using E-Prime. The setup is a dual monitor setup with a
Logitech webcam attached between the two monitors to track where the
participant is looking. Does anyone know of a method to have E-Prime start
the webcam recording when the experiment starts? The webcam is hooked into
a docking station via a USB port. Being able to start the webcam at the
exact same time as the experiment would make the process of coding the
video much easier. Otherwise, I will have to listen for onset of the audio
files played by E-Prime in the video and begin coding at a certain duration
after the audio began, when the images were set to appear.

Thanks,

John Goodrich
