Data Logging Problem

Dear David, JoAnn & David,

Thank you all very much for your responses. I apologise for the delay in getting back to you, I was out of office yesterday.

The experiment is a reaction time task that will be used with fMRI, the video clips are of moves in sport, and participants are required to respond to how they believe play is progressing. Session proc is structured as 'TextDisplay3, InLine1, Welcome, TextDisplay 2, blockproc (TextDisplay1, VideoSlide, ResponseSlide), Endslide'.
My pre-release setting is 0, Input Masks End Action set to None
VideoSlide.RTTime, VideoSlide.RT & VideoSlide.ACC = 0, VideoSlide.CRESP & VideoSlide.RESP = blank

As it is a reaction time task it is quite important that response data is logged all throughout the stimulus, and a little beyond too. And I do not want to terminate the clip once a response is made as I wish to record brain activity through the entirety of the video. In my testing, having purposefully responded AFTER the stimulus clip, I'm consistently finding some are being recorded and some are not, but I have not seen any consistency as to specifically which ones are and which are not recorded.

It seems odd to me that the program should not allow me to measure a response beyond the stimulus without terminating the video for a reaction time task...I could record the reaction time manually whilst the participant is in the scanner, but this is not ideal. Therefore would be very grateful if anyone has any further suggestions!

Thank you again, your time and help is greatly appreciated!

Best,

Ariene
