I agree with Eve and others who say:

"I believe that linguists as academics have a particular obligation to try to
encourage academic discourse in languages other than English, so I would welcome
a stated
language policy for FLING to this effect."

It might also be useful to have a paragraph available noting the URL's of
different translation sites on the web that could be included even for those
writing in English.  We could probably pool our collective knowledge of which
ones are better.
