Q:TV and Radio Reports

Dear linguists,
I'm interested in the study of the similarities and differences between
the language of TV and radio reports of the same sport events.
As you know,In a TV report, the listener has the advantage of viewing the
scene, but in a report on the radio s/he must rely on the descriptions of
the reporter and use his imagination.

I would like to know if:

i) anyone out there knows of any work on this subject;

ii) which linguistic theory, semantic, discourse or pragmatic, can be of
more help?
