Was chrio:/christos ever used in Greek before Christianity in the sense of
"anoint in consecration" or did it ever appear as a title (proper noun)?  In
other words, did the translation also carry a new meaning into Greek?  I think
earlier Hebrew kings were also called "the anointed ones" in Hebrew.
