There were 31 votes total concerning whether GALA should have its first
conference at Stanford in the spring of 2000, coordinated by Penny Eckert.


30 people voted 'yes'
1 person voted 'no'

2 additional votes were not accepted because the voters were not subscribed
to gala-l.
