Hello

One of my students is interested in the nature of the re-appropriation
of taboo names (particularly in the commodification of taboo words
through the medium of capitalism en route to mainstreaming).

I know of a few studies of whiggas, etc, but wonder if there's anything
people know of out there that discusses the basic commodification of
taboo words itself (esp. as regards this "capitalism" aspect)
