IGALA Book Prize

Dear IGALA list members,
If you have published a book on the subject of gender and language within the period 2008-2009, could you please encourage your publisher to submit the book for the IGALA Book Prize.  It is very good publicity for the book which wins the prize, as you are allowed to use the IGALA logo on publicity and on the book itself, and the winning book is publicised through IGALA membership list and on other listserves, as are all of the shortlisted books.  Publishers this year, because of the credit crunch, seem loath to send us books to review, so please can you encourage them and stress the importance of the publicity to a target audience.
