Sixten Bengtsson, "Västgötabengtsson", has passed away. He died
Sunday morning in the service-house Bagaren in Skövde reports
radio Skaraborg. Sixten Bengtsson worked all his life for the
spread of knowledge about Västergötland and its history. He
interviewed for example some  older people about local traditions,
held some 5000 lectures and wrote about 20 books. He also tried to
find the original text of the Västgöta law*. He was awarded  a
honorary doctorate title at Göteborgs University. He reached the
age of 92.

*13th century, Sweden's oldest law book (my comment).
