[gothic-l] Re: The Eruli and Runes

According to "Runjanne" Sven B.F.Jansson the new 16 runes alfabet appears
about 800. The few runestones during  7th and 8th centuries are showing a
gradual change to the newer futark.
Rökstenen and Sparlösastenen are dated to the 9th century.

Mjöbrostenen  in Uppland is dated to about 500.
The stones in Blekinge are dated to the 8th century.
Accordingly they can have anything to do with the immigrating Heruls in the
beginning of the 6th century.
I haven't seen anybody challenging  the dating by "Runjanne".
