Sven B.F. Jansson's _Runinskrifter i Sverige_ (3 uppl. 1985) is
of around 200 pages. On a few pages Jansson mentions
the Blekinge runestones of Istaby, Gummarp, and Stentoften,
but only deals on a few pages with Istaby. Stentoften is never
treated at any length.

On p. 11, however, he points out the important and well known
fact: that the "urnordiska" 24 runes were in use by all Germanic
peoples (north, east and west Germanics). In the 1980s there were
globally 200 of these inscriptions of which 50 are in Sweden.
Jansson himself admits that his treatment of the older runes
is very "summary". I can only agree.

Erulically-Gothically
