In Gothic we have also:
þiudiskó (av) "after the manner of the Gentiles", from an adjective 
*þiudisks "national, gentilic" (Gk. ethnikos) < þiuda "people".
þiudangardi, þiudinassus, and þiudanôn are all derived from þiudans 
"king", that is derived from þiuda "people", in the same manner as 
Gmc. *kuni (cf. Goth. kuni "race, generation, tribe") gave Gmc. 
*kuningaz (Germ. Köning, Eng. king, etc.)
