Viewed in time,
       > Manu   > four classes created  
Tuisto > Mannus > generated the first three  Germanic tribes
Teiws  > Manna  >
 Gaut  > Maðr   >
       > Rig    > begot three classes

The strongest parallel would be between Mannus and ON Rig, Skt. Manu 
and Tuisto, pGmc Tiwaz or Tiuz.
