As we were discussing the runic inscription I was
referring to this and the matter of its age. Am I to understand
that it has been date 4th or 5th century AD?

I did not understand the question. Do you mean the how old is the
treasure of Pietroasa, how old is the village named Pietroasa or how
old is the name "Pietroasa"?
The trasure of Pietroasa is attributed by most specialists to the
Visigoth Athanaric, thus 4th century. But some assign it to the
Ostrogoths of the 5th century.
