Hails Ingemar!

Thank you for posting more information on Gaut. I quite agree with your
perspective, but I do have a couple of questions:

>According to my opinion he is a predecessor of Wodan/Óðinn but with
>decidedly more fertility impact. He is odinistic in the sense of
>schamanism but seems also related to the old fertility-cult.

Is Gaut associated with fertility based on the meaning of his name alone, or
are there any other indications and/or evidence of this? Also, what sources
indicate Gaut has a connection to shamanism? As far as I know, there is
very little information preserved about Gaut, and while I agree that he
probably had these traits, I am seeking evidence to substantiate that.

 The Goths

What distinguishing marks show the begining and end of this cycle?

Is "Frau Gauden" from MHG works? What writing is this information found in?
I would like to investigate this further.

I will be looking forward to the time when your book is finally published in
English! Thanks,

Albareiks
