Dirk,

You are really mixing things up.

The 9th century stone is a runestone with pictures from Västergötland.

The 6th century stone from Gotland with boat with sails is a picture 
stone which are almost only known in Gotland. We have a couple of 
hundred of them (more than 425). I can't remember any picture stones 
known in Sweden.

Perhaps you have never seen a picture stone.
