Mr. Osorio ("Stentor") asked a fortnight ago whether anyone knew the names of 
the Germanic gods in Gothic. Their names are not, so far as I know, preserved 
in Gothic, but in his letter of 13th May Matt gave a list of hypothetical 
words deemed plausible by Jakob Grimm. Among them the following may be of 
interest:
