Dear Dirk,

I am aware of  the cavalry debate and I have not written a word about
that. My remark was only about the  giant thing. I agree  Keth is not
the really rude  guy here - rather you and some other maybe - and
that's why I wrote 'and other', but I admit it was not right to Keth
to do that. I excuse for this.  I am also of the opinion the Roman
cavalry had nothing to do with the fall of the empire but it  was of
political and social reasons. My remark concerned only the
Scandinavian connection and Bertils right to express that opinion. He
is indeed not without support in that issue. Maybe you noted I  also
adviced Bertil to have a more humble profile?
