With the idea of senior age as a symbol of senior rank we've got
'sinista' "elder".  Anything we can use in Mark 6:21 for ranks?

A literal translation, but compare Old Norse / Icelandic 'stórmenni',
and connotations of 'stórr' and 'mikill' generally in Old Norse.
