[gothic-l] Re: Blessings in Gothic

I tried to translate the first two stanzas, but my Latin is still too bad.


Fairraþro gawandjand wifnans
Jah naht ahman
Jah unsar fijands analatiþ
Ni gamainiþ  leika

Fairrabaur fairraþro farands
Bairand swifne,
Fairraþro wisa daufs
praistigiataur sijais.


Procul recedant somnia
Et noctium fantasmata
Hostemque nostrum comprime
Ne polluantur corpora.

Proculo procul vagantum
portenta somniorum,
Procul esto pervicac
Prestigiator estu.
