[gothic-l] Re: Some neologisms

What term would that be? I know Latin "spado" means eunuch and I've thought of borrowing it into Gothic as a neuter on-stem with a more general meaning of "neutrois", but what term do you mean?
 

 Also, Old English words tended to add many more meanings to a word. Where the Proto-Germanic origin word meant "child" or "offspring", Old English added the meaning of "family" and "tribe". Still, it doesn't matter that it had these meanings, since many English words today used to have about seven meanings back in the Old English time, but now have just one or two.
