Conference announcement: WorldCALL 2003

Following the successful WorldCALL 1998 conference, held at the University
of Melbourne, Australia, the WorldCALL Steering Committee is pleased to
announce that WorldCALL 2003 will be hosted jointly by the: University of
Calgary and the University of Alberta in Banff, Alberta, Canada. The
conference will be held in The Banff Centre in the heart of the Canadian
Rocky Mountains. 

Attending a WorldCALL conference will greatly benefit anyone interested in
language teaching and learning, educational applications of multimedia and
Internet technologies, teacher education and educational research -
including classroom teachers, researchers, administrators and technical
staff. The objective of WorldCALL is to promote and develop national and
international networks for CALL research and practice. Scholarships will be
available for participants from areas of the world that are underserved with
regard to the use of new technologies and language learning.
