Dear Friends:
We are pleased to announce that the inaugural issue of the Heritage Language
Journal (HLJ) has been posted and can be read on line at:
http://www.heritagelanguages.org.

HLJ is a blind-refereed journal dedicated to disseminating information and
inspiring discussion on topics related to heritage language learning and
teaching. The journal is available free of charge and can be read both in
HTML and pdf formats.

The Heritage Language Journal is published by the Language Resource Center,
a division of the International Institute at UCLA, with support from the UC
Consortium for Language Learning and Teaching, the UCLA International
Institute, the UCLA Dean of Humanities  and the Division of Social
Sciences/Department of Linguistics at UC San Diego.
