simple transfer from vhs to dvd - hope simple

Aloha, yes, this can be done too. I'm more concerned about having the ability to playback VHS in the perhaps not-too-distant future. DVD may go the way of the Edsel someday, too, but it's not an immediate concern.

My reply was a bit off-topic to the initial question, but thought I'd share those experiences regarding format obsolescence while they were fresh in my mind ;-)
