Elders track lost Indigenous languages

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics over 250 Indigenous
languages were spoken in Australia before white settlement, just over
half of those still exist today.

Sadly the majority of those remaining languages are considered
critically endangered but there are moves to change that.

Workshops aimed at teaching people about Indigenous languages are
being held across central Queensland this year.
