Neanderthal DNA

I would like to bring to your attention the 'feature of the week' in the most
recent issue of Nature (March 30, 2000): http://www.nature.com/nature/fow/
about Neanderthal DNA results. It is a series of good and balanced articles
that may have some bearing on the origin of language as we know it, and on the
out-of-Africa theory.

This may be somewhat beyond the scope of the list, but I am sure several
members will be interested.
