Position Announcement

Director of Clinical Programs (Assistant/Associate Clinical Specialist):
Position available in the Department of Communication Disorders at the
University of Minnesota.  Effective June 14, 2004. Position involves
leadership and management for a cohesive model of clinical education,
maintaining fiscal oversight of clinic resources, coordinating clinical
placements in the community, and maintaining active involvement in clinical
research/teaching activities. Opportunities to provide some direct clinical
services and supervision. Required qualifications include a Ph.D. in
communication disorders and CCC; a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
post CFY, including supervision; and eligibility for MN licensure. Preferred
qualifications include CCC-SLP, 5+ years of clinical experience post CFY;
experience with a range of service delivery models that serve diverse
populations; previous administrative experience; and a strong disciplinary
content area.  The position is a full-time, twelve-month probationary
academic professional position leading to possible conferral of continuous
appointment. Beginning salary is commensurate with experience.  Review of
