I'm forwarding your e-mail to my ex student Reem Khamis-Dakwar who was an Arabic speech pathologist in Arabic-speaking Israeli schools, and has recently completed her dissertation on acquisition of grammatical knowledge of formal and colloquial Palestinian Arabic grammatical constructions in school children. I am currently working on reading ability in native arabic speakers. There are almost no standardised measures of assessment in this language. If anyone has worked with Arabic reading before and/or has heard of any wort of assessment, kindly forward me some recommendations.
